Note: If you install PowerSoft and it changes Power Broker’s drive (Power Broker’s Utilities, Define Your Company Information function Software Directories tab) then you must download “setuppc.exe” (see below) to setup the BrokerEDI/PC E-Mail/EDI Engine to use Power Broker’s new drive mapping.   

Click UPMACH.EXE to download the Machine Address Mapping Table as of January 5, 2006. This installation program will replace the BrokerEDI/PC E-Mail/EDI Engine's Machine Address Mapping File with the insurance companies enabled on CSIOnet as of January 5, 2006. Run UPMACH.EXE on the PC that is running the E-Mail/EDI communications.

Click up64g.EXE to download the BrokerEDI/PC E-Mail/EDI Engine Version 6.4g update. Run up64g.exe on the PC that is running the E-Mail/EDI communications.

Notes for release 6.4g:
Note(1) This update adds a new program-item “Settings – Select All” to eliminate the need to manually select each Settings.

Notes for release 6.4f:
Note(1) This update will add a new program-item “BrokerEDI/PC Engine Files” to the “BrokerEDIPC E-Mail Engine” program group. You can now have the Engine backup all your outgoing uploaded policy files. This daily backup file is displayed in Notepad for you to examine and check what policies were actually uploaded. This is useful if an insurance company says they not receiving your uploaded policies.
Note(2) The copying of BAD files to a diskette has been replaced with the BAD files being zipped into a BADFILES.ZIP file and e-mailed to Power Broker.
Note(3) For detailed debugging you can have the Engine save all of your Internet files that are sent and received.

Note(4) If the PC does not have Microsoft .Net Framework Version  1.1 installed click ' .NET Framework 1.1 to  download 'dotnetfx.exe' and then run 'dotnetfx.exe'. Click GrantFullTrust for the steps to grant full trust to “DisCSIOFile.exe”.

 Click setuppc.exe to download the program to set up another PC in the office to do upload/download. Before you do this you must configure a networking entry to connect to CSIOnet. Note: the name of this entry must be the same as the one on the other PC.

Click Installation Guide to download and print the January/2006 edition of the BrokerEDI/PC E-Mail/EDI Engine Installation Guide. Note: If you connection is a dialup MODEM, it is recommended that the phonebook entry to dial CSIOnet should have "Idle time before hanging up" be set to at least 10 minutes.

 When specifying the “BCE Emergis VPN Connection” name e.g. “BCEVPN”, the name must not have spaces. Click Settings-InsureNet for a word document display of the correct setup for a VPN connection. Note: VPN communications is only supported on Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Server and up except Vista. Call the CSIO Help Desk to check if Bell now supports a Vista VPN connection.   Note: Firewall should be configured to forward traffic on port 500UDP and 1723 to the IP address of the connecting machine. Enable IP protocol 47 which is normally enabled on most routers.
